From EW’s Shelf Life column. I’ve already bought all of the books a couple of times now and I was thinking of re-reading them, but I’m on the fence about whether I will actually buy the ebooks. I wonder what the illustrations look like in digitized form? I love ebooks for convenience, but there’s still something about paper books.

It’s a lot to shell out for a complete set, especially if you bought the original editions. What would you consider a fair price?

I don’t think so. This series has staying power. I have read them a few times and have referred to certain sections. Even my kids want their own set. I am curious what the illlustrations would look like.

It’s an incredible series. But I’ve bought them several times already. I’m looking into the library editions.
